The event also highlighted modern business strategies such as modular production hubs and the “Glo-Cal” approach, combining global expertise with local sourcing.

Three Major Exhibitions Come Together in 2027

Building on the momentum of the 2026 edition, ProPak Asia will return to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani from June 9-12, 2027, with plans for an even larger exhibition.

The 2027 edition will bring together ProPak Asia with two major trade exhibitions: ASEAN Paper Bangkok 2027 and LOUPE Southeast Asia 2027

ASEAN Paper Bangkok will focus on paper and pulp technologies, corrugated paper production, and regional recycling solutions responding to global megatrends. LOUPE Southeast Asia, meanwhile, will highlight label products, mid-web flexible packaging, inline folding carton converting, and printing technologies.

Bringing the three exhibitions together will create a “One-Stop Exhibition” in the region, covering the upstream-to-downstream supply chain across food and beverage processing, packaging, paper, and label printing – from raw materials and production processes to smart logistics and warehousing.

The exhibition space is set to expand by an additional 15%, while more than 80% of advance space has already been reserved by global participants, according to the organizer.

Strengthening Asia’s Packaging Ecosystem

Commending the exhibition’s success, Luciana Pellegrino, President of the World Packaging Organization (WPO), stated that Thailand has demonstrated its potential as ASEAN’s leading packaging industry hub, particularly in driving the transition toward sustainable, eco-friendly materials. She noted that ProPak Asia connects the global packaging ecosystem by sharing advanced industry insights and linking international innovations with regional growth. Looking ahead, the WPO confirmed its continued support for ProPak Asia 2027 as an international platform for technology exchange, business networking, and in-depth sustainability knowledge.
