The grand opening of JAPAN PACK 2023 on October 3rd marked a momentous occasion with the official establishment of the Asia Packaging Associations’ Club (APAC). This historic event took place at Tokyo Big Sight and was attended by prominent figures from the packaging industry.
The inaugural general meeting served as the platform for APAC’s foundation. The meeting was graced by the esteemed presence of three founding members: Japan’s Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Association (JPMA), Korea Packaging Machinery Association (KPMA), and Taiwan Packaging Association (TPA). Informa Markets, represented by its distinguished observer, and representatives from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, added to the significance of the event.
